Bibliotheca Hungarica

Founded in 1990 in ©amorín, the Bibliotheca Hungarica functions as the library and database of the Forum Minority Research Institute. It promotes the formation of an up-to-date document supply service, as well as the development of the Hungarian library and information science in Slovakia. The Bibliotheca Hungarica, which serves as the research library of the Forum Minority Research Institute, also provides a proper institutional frame promoting the data collection and research into any fields that are related to the Hungarian minority community in Slovakia.


The collection of the library includes publications related to the history, education, social and political situation of the Hungarians in Slovakia, issued on the territory of the former Czechoslovakia and the present-day Slovakia, written either in Hungarian or other languages (Slovak, Czech, English, etc.).

CDs, DVDs associated with the scope of its collection

The library holdings also include the collection of the Ethnological Centre.

The extensive collection of the reference library is intended for supporting scholarly research.
