Founded in 1990 in Šamorín, the Bibliotheca Hungarica functions as the library and database of the Forum Minority Research Institute. It promotes the formation of an up-to-date document supply service, as well as the development of the Hungarian library and information science in Slovakia. The Bibliotheca Hungarica, which serves as the research library of the Forum Minority Research Institute, also provides a proper institutional frame promoting the data collection and research into any fields that are related to the Hungarian minority community in Slovakia.
