In summer 2010, the Forum Minority Research Institute conducted a research on the frequency of Hungarian language usage and bilingualism in settlements inhabited in the proportion of at least 10 per cents by Hungarians. Part of the program was also the photo documentation of written bilingualism. The documentation work was provided by Students’ Network. They prepared more than 20,000 photos in 535 towns and villages. The database contains approx. 16,000 photos, sorted by type and location.
